About

I’m a German-Italian communications expert based in The Netherlands. And thus far I spent big part of my professional life working for busy technical projects: Daily communications, interpreting for business meetings, writing, researching info, sourcing suppliers, interacting with local agents and tech service providers worldwide. Producing technical translations, documentation and project status reports. Managing maritime crews. Producing risk assessments and pertaining safety protocols for the crews.

Before that, working in congress & event management, Berlin city, at a time when that beloved madhouse of mine still had 3 functioning (!) airports.
I had moved to Berlin when the wall was still standing. Later with the building frenzy unleashed – and me having just returned from a 3 years stay in the Italian South – I spent two years handling the deliveries for a big German-Italian construction site in Berlin city, on site, sunrise to sunset. Providing technical translations and interpreting during meetings, for the 150 workers on site and the bureaucratic procedures all around it. It was an excellent school for a technical translator. You saw what you talked about, each moment. And you learned about the working realities like they are not taught at any academy.

Along the way, I discovered that I love researching information and writing, too. There are some topics which always had my strong interest: Sustainability. Innovative, refreshing solutions to old problems. Protection and restoration of our ecosystems. Smart, sustainable, healthy working & traveling. In no particular order.
